Happier customers, zero agent burnout with Zoom’s AI agents

Zoom’s Virtual Agent—aka your AI sidekick that handles customer queries without bugging the humans—is getting a GenAI glow-up. Unveiled at Zoomtopia 2024, this upgrade will let the agent juggle multiple intents in a single conversation. And if a customer pulls a mid-convo switch-up? No sweat—this AI pivots like a pro.

Oh, and did we mention the AI Virtual Voice Agent coming soon? It’s bringing these features to phone calls, helping customers resolve complex issues by detecting intent changes in real time and providing answers without needing a human agent. Voice channels, meet your new AI best friend.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Zoom is also rolling out Dynamic Agent Guides, which act like real-time cheat sheets for agents. They skip past irrelevant steps and guide agents to exactly where they need to be, making sure they don’t waste time rehashing old ground.

Then there’s Supervisor Flagging, a feature that monitors interactions and flags red flags for supervisors when things get tricky—whether it’s a frustrated customer or a long, drawn-out call. Supervisors can step in at the right moment to smooth things over.

Last but not least, instead of manually reviewing conversations, Zoom’s AI will now score 100% of customer interactions, identifying areas where agents can improve while keeping everything compliant and efficient. It’s like having a coach review every play and offer instant feedback without the heavy lifting.

The goal? Faster fixes, lower costs, and happier customers. So, if your CX game could use a turbo boost, Zoom’s got your playbook.

Just when you thought HubSpot couldn’t surprise you anymore…

HubSpot is shaking things up in the CRM space, and your workflow is about to feel the difference.

First up: App Cards, the ultimate tab-hopping killer. Announced at INBOUND 2024, these cards let you interact with third-party apps directly within HubSpot, no need to switch tabs.

Think of them as interactive widgets—tools like Microsoft Dynamics or Shopify become embedded within your CRM dashboard, so you can access key app functions without ever leaving HubSpot.

HubSpot is also acquiring Cacheflow, a subscription billing and CPQ vendor, to supercharge Commerce Hub. If you’re tired of clunky purchase processes and chasing payments, this might be your new favorite tool.

Cacheflow automates SaaS sales, customizes quotes, and even upsells customers—all in one no-code platform. HubSpot’s not just connecting your data; they’re speeding up your sales cycle and helping you get paid faster.

In short: from smarter app connections to streamlined billing, HubSpot is doubling down on making your CRM experience smoother, faster, and way less frustrating. And with AI driving many of these changes, the future of your workflow looks bright.
