CRMmys Badge Terms

2026 AWARD CYCLE

Effective date: to be set on publication. Operated by As We May Think Inc., doing business as CRM.org.

These Badge Terms govern the use of the CRMmys badges by award recipients. They supplement the CRMmys Terms and Conditions of Entry and Participation (the Terms and Conditions). By displaying a CRMmys badge, a recipient accepts these Badge Terms.

1. Ownership of the badges

The CRMmys badges, the CRMmys name, the CRMmys comet mascot, and all associated marks are the property of As We May Think Inc., doing business as CRM.org (the Organizer). A recipient receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to display the badge that corresponds to its recognition, on the conditions set out below. No ownership of any mark transfers to the recipient.

2. Who may use a badge

A recipient may display only the badge for the recognition tier it received: Selection, Finalist, or Winner. A badge corresponds to one product, one category, and one award cycle. A recipient that received recognition in more than one category may display the badge for each category in which recognition was granted. A recipient may not display a badge for a tier, category, product, or cycle for which it did not receive recognition.

3. Permitted placements

Badges may be displayed, in connection with the recognized product, on the recipient's website, press pages, sales and marketing materials, social channels, and investor communications.

4. Conditions of use

  • Display the badge as provided. Do not recolor, crop, distort, rotate, animate, or combine it with other marks.
  • Do not alter the tier, category, or year shown on the badge, or add text that changes its meaning.
  • Display the badge only in connection with the product that received the recognition, not other products in the recipient's portfolio.
  • Do not present the badge in a way that implies the Organizer's sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement of the recipient or its products.

5. Scope and duration

Recognition is specific to the award cycle and the category named on the badge. A recipient may reference its recognition historically, identified by cycle (for example, CRMmys Winner, Best Sales CRM, 2026). A recipient may not present past recognition as current status, ranking, or endorsement, and may not imply recognition in a cycle in which none was granted.

6. No endorsement

A CRMmys badge does not constitute an endorsement, certification, warranty, or guarantee of the recipient or its product. It does not imply fitness for purpose, compliance, or superiority. It may not be represented as an objective ranking or as permanent status. The recipient is responsible for how it describes its recognition in its own communications.

7. Approved language and assets

In addition to the badge, a recipient may use the approved announcement language, official visuals, and any judge commentary that the Organizer provides, in the placements listed in Section 3. A recipient may not attribute any statement to the Organizer, the judging panel, or any individual judge beyond what the Organizer has supplied in writing.

8. Revocation

The Organizer may revoke a recipient's badge rights at any time for misuse or misrepresentation, at its sole discretion. On revocation, or on written notice from the Organizer, the recipient will remove the badge and any related claims from the placements under its control within a reasonable period.

9. Relationship to the Terms and Conditions

These Badge Terms supplement the Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions. Where these Badge Terms and the Terms and Conditions conflict, the Terms and Conditions govern. The Organizer may amend these Badge Terms in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
